Conor Wells


Conor Wells takes the reins of the newly established Lake Tahoe Cross country for his first year.

Wells started the Coyotes off with a bang taking both mens and womens teams to the CCCAA State Championship following a 1-2 finish for the women at conference and a 2-5 finish for the men. During this season, Wells’ team averaged a 3.84 GPA across both men and women.

Wells is a decorated Chico State Alumnus making waves onto their top ten all-time lists with personal records of 1:49.06 in the 800m and 3:44 in the 1500m. He has been described as a true student of the sport, mixing both his scientific background (Masters in Kinesiology, emphasis, in Biomechanics) with his passion for helping others in reaching new heights.

Also an American River College alumni, Wells brings personal experience from competing at the CCCAA level. Multiple All-American and all academic honors decorate his resume.

Coach Wells is also passionate in all outdoor pursuits, enjoying skiing, ultra running, rock climbing, and mountain biking.
