SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Lake Tahoe Community College men's soccer team hit the road for three away games following their home-opening win over Contra Costa on Aug. 22.

Quinton Alewine scored off an assist by Ian Andrade as the Coyotes started the week with a 1-1 draw at College of the Sequoias.

They headed further south for the Nike/Azteca Tournament, Aug. 29-31.

No. 6 Mount San Antonio College handed LTCC its first defeat of the season, 5-0, in the opener.

LTCC fared better against Fullerton College on Sunday. Mason Franks and Elijah Rivera netted goals, Alewine dished out an assist, but the Coyotes suffered a 3-2 defeat.

LTCC (1-2-1) hosts Woodland Community College this Friday, Sept. 5.
