Coyotes dominate postseason honors
Jacobo-Duran, Hogan were named Players of the Year and selected to All-NorCal Teams.
The dynamic duo of freshman forward Leslie Jacobo-Duran and sophomore midfielder Kelsey Hogan during the season carried over to the individual postseason honors in 2023.
Jacobo-Duran, who led the state of California in goals (33), assists (20) and points (86), and the nation in scoring, was named Golden Valley Conference's Most Valuable Player. Hogan, who tallied 17 goals and 15 assists (49 points), was named the GVC Midfielder of the Year. Hogan ranked in the top-ten in the state in scoring and was among highest-scoring midfielders in California.
Jacobo-Duran was named to the United Soccer Coaches all-West Region team and was a first-team all-state and all-Northern California selection by the California Community College Soccer Coaches Association. Hogan was named all-Northern California by the California Community College Soccer Coaches Association
Sophomore Jenna Pevenage was named the GVC Co-Defensive Player of the Year (she won the same award in 2022). Pevenage was named United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American.
Sophomore Natalyn Wakeling, who was also named USC Scholar All-American, freshman Izzy Tauataina and freshman Yoselin Lopez-Lugo were named to the conference's first-team.
Freshman Jenni Arias, and sophomores Annika Gnesda and Jasmine Lopez were all named to the conference's second-team.
