High School:
During her time at Douglas High School, Niza set a personal record of 21:09 in the 5K her senior year. She also competed at the 2023 NIAA 5A Cros Country State Championships alongside her teammates. 

Personal:
Niza is studying psychology with hopes to "become a therapist and help people because mental health is important" ... She chose to come to LTCC because "Lake Tahoe is a beautiful area to run in" ... She lists her greatest accomplishment as attaining "straight As [her] senior year of high school" ... Her favorite memory in competitive sports thus far is "making it to state [her] senior year of cross country and running with all [her] teammates for one last time" ... Niza most admires "[her] friend Ayla because she's the hardest working person [she] knows and inspires [her] to do better" ... Outside of her sport, Niza's favorite activity is "hiking because it's basically running without the wanting to die part" ... A fun fact about Niza is that she is a twin.
