SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Coyotes kicked off the season with a bang at The beaver Invitational this previous weekend (3/1).

This season opener was a great opportunity to shake off the winter rust and start the journey to the state championship in San Mateo this May.

Highlights of the meet included; Jacob Christopher's victories in both the 1500m and 800m races. His power down the home stretch allowed him to secure the victory in both races.

Caitlin Fulbright, Lexie Sackett, and Shelby Rugg all experienced their first track meet with promising results. Showing that there is much to give in the coming season.

Hudson Conners makes his return to competition, a year in the making.

Lake Tahoe fielded two teams in the mixed gender 4x400, a fun way to end a day of races.

The Coyotes will take to the road again this weekend, competing at the Wildcat Invite at California State University, Chico, this Saturday 3/8.
