No. 10 LTCC blows out Redwoods and Siskiyous, inches closer to GVC title
The Coyotes can clinch the conference title with a victory or tie at Butte College on Nov. 7.
REDDING, Calif. - The No. 10 Lake Tahoe Community College women's soccer team increased its unbeaten run to 10 straight with a 6-0 victory at College of the Redwoods on Tuesday.
Carmen Damien scored twice, Alyssa Allan dished out four assists and the Coyotes improved to 9-0-1 over the 10-game stretch. At 12-4-3 overall and 8-0-1 in GVC play, LTCC sits in first place with a single match remaining against second-place Butte College on Nov. 7.
Olivia Kwachak-Hall, Brooke Waelbrock and Avery Hayes added scores. Kwachak-Hall and Waelbrock each logged assists as well.
The win over Redwoods was the second victory in 48 hours for LTCC, which also took down College of Siskiyous on Monday, 3-0.
Waelbrock and Karina Vargas scored in that affair.
Following the Butte match, the Coyotes have one game left in the regular season at No. 8 Fresno City on Nov. 11.
