Coyotes extend winning streak to five straight
LTCC has recorded shutouts in six of its last seven matches.
QUINCY, Calif. - The No. 12 Lake Tahoe Community College women's soccer team extended its unbeaten run to eight and its winning streak to five after a 3-0 road win over No. 15 Feather River in Golden Valley Conference play Tuesday afternoon.
Darleen Miller handed the Coyotes the lead in the 10th minute off an assist by Jaelyn Echeverria, Avery Hayes scored for the second game in a row, an Emily Brandt continued her solid offensive run with a goal in the 70th minute.
Brandt has logged at least one point in five straight games, a span in which she has scored six goals and dished out four assists.
LTCC (10-4-3, 6-0-1) remains in first place in the GVC and moves on to face College of Siskiyous (10-6-0, 5-3-0) on Nov. 3 in Weed, Calif. The Coyotes beat Siskiyous 8-0 on Oct. 7.
