Undefeated Lake Tahoe continues GVC dominance
Coyotes host Siskiyous in home tilt on Friday.
The Lake Tahoe Community College women's soccer team will look to remained undefeated in Golden Valley Conference play tonight at 7 against College of the Siskiyous in South Lake Tahoe.
The Lady Coyotes, which defeated Siskiyous 9-0 on Sept. 27 in Weed, Calif., are a perfect 5-0 this season in conference play and are seeking their fifth consecutive conference title. Lake Tahoe has outscored its conference opponents 52-0 in 2022, has outscored its conference opponents 330-5 since 2016, and hasn't been scored on in conference play since Nov. 21, 2019.
Lake Tahoe (8-4-2, 5-0) is led by a trio of players in several offensive categories: Sophomore Skylar Blaise leads the state in assists with 17 and leads the conference in assists, goals (15) and points (47); sophomore Alyssa Grundy, the 2021 GVC Player of the Year, is currently second in the conference in goals (11) and third in points (26); freshman Rylie Stackpole is second in the conference in points (27) and third in goals (10) and second in assists with 7.
