LTCC women host Canada in playoffs
Coyotes seeded sixth in postseason.
The Lake Tahoe Community College women's soccer team, fresh of its fifth consecutive Golden Valley Conference title, begins its playoff run on Saturday against Canada College at 2 p.m. at LTCC. The Lady Coyotes, who are seeded sixth in NorCal with a 14-5-2 record, have won twelve of its past 13 games heading into the playoffs.
Canada defeated Modesto 3-0 in the opening round of the playoffs on Wednesday, setting up Saturday's showdown against LTCC. The winner of Saturday's game plays the winner of Sierra-Las Positas on Tuesday.
The Lady Coyotes would need to win three playoff games to advance to their third CCCAA Final Four appearance since the program's inception in 2014.
