LTCC shuts out Yuba, extends unbeaten run to seven

The Coyotes remain at the top of the Golden Valley Conference.

MARYSVILLE, Calif. - The Lake Tahoe Community College men's soccer team's run of good form continued as the Coyotes downed Yuba College on the road, 2-0, in Golden Valley Conference play.

Joseph Gonzalez and Mason Franks scored in a five-minute span between the 50th and 55th minute to lift the Coyotes to 9-4-3 overall and 5-0-1 GVC.

Rylee Collart assisted Gonzalez and Quinton Alewine assisted Franks.

Franks leads the GVC in goals (11) and ranks second in total points (24). Alewine is tied for third with eight goals and is fourth with 21 points.

LTCC heads to Feather River College on Oct. 28 for a bout between two unbeaten teams in conference play.
